We have an engine bell housing adapter and flywheel to mount GM / Chevrolet fuel injected or carbureted V8 small block engine to the Fiero or other GM transaxles. The automatic transmission bell housing adapter is CNC machined aluminum material. Our bellhousing adapter plates and flywheels use standard, easy to find starters, similar to the kind used in an '84 Nissan Maxima. The starter cross references with: 70's Nissan 200SX, '78-'83 Nissan 280Z and 80's 720 Pickups. The untilted version, where the engine isn't rotated, the installer will have to cut a small corner of the engine block to fit to the transmission (about 1/2 the mounting block of the original V8 mounting starter). The tilted version, unlike the standard automatic adapter, does not require cutting the corner of the engine block to clear, but the engine is rotated approximately 5 degrees toward the front of car. Manual Steel adapter is by special order only.
